I-Day Milano

A whole day dedicated to the best music on the spectacular festival area Fiera Milano in Rho. The I-DAY Milano Urban Festival will be celebrated at the new piazza dei tori on Sunday the 30th of August and has a capacity of more than 30.000 visitors. Internationally famous bands like Oasis, The Kooks, Kasabian and Twisted Wheel ensure that this festival belongs to the most important events of rock music.

The wild summer in Milan will be finished by a spectacular event for each kind of music fan. I-DAY Milano belongs to the best musical celebrations and aims to promote Milan for the Expo 2015 at the same time. The Festival will take place between two cities to avoid possible trouble with the neighbourhood.

This year and with the support of MTV it’s the first time that the tickets will be sold via mobile phone. It’s a new sales system where you’ll receive a code on your mobile phone after having bought the tickets. For getting into to the festival area you’ll have to show this code which is valid till the end of the concerts.

This Rock festival is especially famous for the countless music fans and festival visitors who storm the festival area each year. Once there you will get to enjoy only the best bands in the world – the festival almost explodes with international music talent. So, Milan will be transformed into the European capital of rock music and the British band Oasis will inaugurate this year’s edition. The Kooks and Kasabian are already waiting in the wings to passionately rock their audience.
